Janzu Water Therapy - Surrender to the Flow

"Water reflects the sky and the soul" ~ Victor Hugo

What is Janzu?

Janzu is a therapeutic water-based healing practice that combines elements of meditation, relaxation, and body movement in water. It originated in Mexico, developed by healer Juan Villatoro, and is influenced by principles of aquatic therapy, shamanic traditions, and Eastern philosophies like Tai Chi and Qigong.

The Healing Benefits of Janzu Water Therapy

In a Janzu session, I will guide you through gentle, flowing movements while you float on the water. The practice is designed to help release physical, emotional, and energetic blockages by promoting deep relaxation and a meditative state. The water’s buoyancy allows for a sense of weightlessness, which can lead to a profound feeling of freedom and inner calm. Janzu is often described as a form of aquatic therapy that facilitates healing, inner balance, and emotional release.

Whether you’re seeking relief from stress, emotional healing, or simply wish to experience a deep sense of peace and relaxation, Janzu offers a safe, nurturing space for restoration. It promotes a deep sense of inner calm, clarity, and relaxation.

The practice is available only in person (Menorca, Spain).

How a Janzu Session Works

The session takes place in the water, where you will be floating or partially submerged in the water while I guide you through gentle movements, stretches, and flowing motions. The nose is covered with a provided nose clip, so you can experience full immersion in the water if appropriate. The length of the session may vary depending on the person, the conditions, and whether it is the recipient’s first Janzu experience. A typical session may last up to an hour, with in-water time varying from 20 to 40 minutes.
